The Next iPod

Apple just received a U.S. patent for an iPod with a touch-sensitive back and a regular screen on the front. If a user touches the back, a corresponding transparent navigation system appears on the screen to control the iPod.

This new interface is actually quite stunning … it’s elegant and simple, it shrinks the size of the gadget, and it allows you to navigate without actually having to touch or block the screen with your fingers. I love it!

I like it. It sounds sweet, and it could probably be used for a gaming console too, like for Ultra Mega Next Gen Awesome Game Boy Player.
    Nifty Neat!
Thinking more about it…actually this is really nice. I mean, how often have you wanted a mouse but been unable to point at something on the screen because it blots out the actual object. This allows you to point in the same relative direction only beneath it…Therefore it is like the mouse when HP owned it. mmm…I don’t know how the keyboard will go but it looks amazing. Like something someone should have though of before…
