Getting out the best China.
Though it might seem that I complain about life here in China a lot, I have actually loved almost every minute of it. Moments like this one, at Jiuzhaigou’s Long Lake (in northern Sichuan province), easily demonstrate the depth and beauty that is so ubiquitous in this country. It’s been my honor to sample the best that this country has to offer!

After using the same 200 words over and over with my chinese friends and students all year, I’m trying to raise my English competency up to an acceptable level before my return.

I love that pictures like this one, and places like that, are always going to leave me in awe of God. How beautiful.

Lance, I’m glad you enjoyed your time in China and thank you so much for all the fundraising you have done for the children still at the orphanage. China is an amazing country and I hope to one day be able to bring my daughter (a Loudi girl) back to China. I also hope you are still going to do a coffee table book. You take amazing photographs and I know it will be an awesome book. Good luck in the future! Gail.
