I had to laugh when I discovered that YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, and MySpace are all blocked at my middle school here in Cincinnati. It’s like our own little personal Great Firewall of China!

not much i graduated from high school in june and i just started this week at miami middletown… i’m only taking 2 classes though because i’m pregnant so i’m trying to work as much as i can before the baby comes… i’m due christmas day…. my life is pretty crazy right now but i hope it will get calmer soon… you still teach at chca right? you probably know my little sister if you do still teach there…. her name is abby

No, not at all, at least here at the middle school (the high schoolers try harder). But I think that our firewall is actually much better than the ones I encountered in China … strange, but true.

I think that firewall’s should use a firewire port to shoot fire out of…or connect to the seat via firewire to the “firewall”, thus engulfing offending students in flame after the 5 second warning period or repeated offenses…
