WE-DEY!

My beloved Cleveland Browns just absolutely laid the smack down on the Cincinnati Bengals … 51-45, 554 yards of total offense, 216 rushing yards by Jamal Lewis, 5 touchdown passes by Derek Anderson (a franchise record), no sacks allowed by the offensive line, and pure heart demonstrated by the whole team.
I’ve been bragging for years (sarcastically, usually) about how the Browns’ time time has come … and this past week, I really stepped up the rhetoric, claiming that they were going to start their Super Bowl run by stomping the local favorite here in Cincinnati. But I didn’t expect to actually see it happen.
I guess this’ll be a fun week!

I wouldnt say at all that they layed the smack down. Both defenses sucked and both offenses rocked!

I have it from a VERY reliable source that those Dawg Pounders in your picture are not pouring beer on Chad. Its another liquid of similar color, but a little more odorous. Would explain his reaction along the sideline after his leap…

Time to convert to COLTS-fanaticism! Even Dad has as evidenced by his fantasy picks/trades!

I heard a commentator on PTI (ESPN) saying that he thought that Browns fans had gone soft - he thought those Dawg Pound fans were patting him on the back! Personally I think they were trying to grab ahold of him and drag him INTO the Pound… He lucked out that all he got was beer (or whatever) poured on him!

If he had done that in the 80s in the old Dawg Pound he would have come out bleeding. The stadium is so “corporatized” these days they were all probably too busy clipping their fingernails and sipping apple juice to realize he was there.

ha ha, guess who got the last laugh December 23rd! Go Bengals

Yeah, those Bengals really made me nervous heading into the game … but I didn’t expect their best player to be Anderson! Now we’ve gotta depend on the Colts to beat the Titans next week …
