Learn to cut your own hair.
I’ve been doing it for eleven years now (except for last year), and I figure that at fifteen bucks a pop, I’ve saved about $2000. Sure, it takes a little bit of practice to figure out how to handle the scissors/clippers/mirror, but it’s well worth the effort. And it’s fun too!

it also works to make cutting your hair into a contest, and whoever wins gets to cut it.
it might only work when your hair is long though…or beard

I hate paying more than 10 rmb ($1.25) for a haircut (and massage!)
