And contrary to popular opinion, both have their place and worth!

Can’t it just be a hobby???

  2. Lance said:

If your ideas are new, Nathaniel, they just might end up changing the world. Yep … hobbies can do that too!

so then my art would be revolutional… unless i didn’t share it… then it would be wasted… wow that is really deep

  4. HP said:

yes it is… I’ve got to hand it to you…

  5. Lance said:

    Thou ART funny, HP.

  6. austin said:

    so it begins…

  7. HP said:

Pretty “sketchy” beginning though, if I do say so myself…

  8. Nathaniel said:

    Do you?

Quit trying to “frame” the poor boy….

  10. HP said:

We’re not… We’re trying to “Paint him into a corner.”

“Color” me crazy, but all he has to do to get in on the action is “canvas” the neighborhood for ideas that are “palette”-able.

    Take it “easel” HP….

I think I need to “brush” up on my Webel humor …

  13. Nathaniel said:

I found a good one on the web, so i tried to copy and paste it. CRAFTy, huh?

  14. HP said:

We may have to “draw the line” on these comments. I’m not so sure it is “painting a pretty picture” of what Webel humor is all about.

  15. Lance said:

Come on, HP … don’t lose your TEMPERA!

  16. HP said:

What??? You want to “brush off” my comments as an old man getting angry? Not so. Believe me, there’s “still life” in these bones…

  17. Paul said:

What started all this? The “details” are “sketchy”. We may need an outside “critic” to sort out the “landscape”. The “gallery” might be the place to start. The facts could be “sculptured” into some sort of “stroke” of “genious” “display” of “model” for the younger “subjects”.

  18. HP said:

I give up. I can’t “carve” as “crafty” an “exhibit” that gives a “portrait” which “displays” my “abstract” ability to “sculpt” a “creative” “composition”.

    Best. blog. conversation. ever.
as an art teacher, i am impressed by the use of art vocab words. I will remember this for the rest of my life.

    Take it from me- “Pablo”….

  21. HP said:

Nice….. I went to the local “starving artists sale” to try and buy a comeback, but I ran out of “Monet.”

  22. Paul said:

I never get to “VanGogh” to those kind of sales.

  23. HP said:

That’s too bad. I used my “Van”to”Gogh” there, and my “Caravag”to”gio” home. On the way there I stopped for a “Reuben,” but the “Pollock” gave me a “Rock(well)” to “Munch” on instead. It’s probably going to give me “Gauguin” in my foot or something.

    I don’t get your pointillism.

  25. Paul said:

“Pointillism” well taken. But your “Plagarism” of the “Landscape” “textured” to “glaze” over the “color” of the “oily” “Fresco” is just a weak attempt to “airbrush” over the facts. “Enameling” the whole conversation is just ‘varnishing” the blog, and it all becomes a “Pigment” of your imagination.

  26. HP said:

Most of that was pretty fluffy, but the “pigment” comment is definitely award-worthy…
