Ch-ch-ch-changes
Well, today I start my new job and a new cross country season. And this year I feel less prepared and more out-of-place than I ever have before. Is that a good thing?

It was January 1st 2008 at 9 a.m. I sat down and realized right away that I had a crazy road ahead of me. I had a new job, that involved some crazy amount of time to prepare things for the summer. I felt so unprepared and not ready for what was ahead. It was a good thing.

When God conditions our heart, it usually is exciting and intriguing all at the same time. Conditioning is good. Both for our heart and for our hair.

How was your first day?

Did you paint your office that crazy green color?

Man, these first couple of days have been bewildering … but good. It’s weird to be starting from scratch yet not … to be slightly familiar with what’s going on but looking at all of it from a different perspective. It’s going to take a little while to get my feet under me … and in the meantime, I’m gonna have to take some risks and learn to act like I know what I’m doing.
And Angie, I think I’m gonna go with cream and eggplant.

Is the first day of school at CHCA a half day?
August 6th, 2008 at 2:49 pm EST
Yep … on the 20th we’ll be here until 11:15, doing lots of orientation and disorientation. Should be fun!

Good, because I have an orthodontist appointment at noon…
…and I don’t want to miss part of the first day of school. That would be bad. Were you in your old room today at school? Cuz I was there for tutoring and someone was in there. (Tutoring so I can move up to algebra.)
I’m Hannah, by the way. The annoying sixth grader (or should I say seventh grader!
) who kept trying to “hook you up” with my sisters according to you (but I wasn’t fyi!!!! They’re both taken anyway! As of right now.)

And that’s really cool about your new job at school. I liked you as a DM teacher though…
