On Thursday, I figured out how to splash before I land … and although I cannot divulge the secret behind this sweet new skill, I will say that that ability to transfer large amounts of force to a predetermined location will come in handy in my middle school classroom!

What kind of camera do you use? I’m kinda in the market for one, and I’m always impressed by the awesome colors you produce with yours. Any suggestions? ps. I got called back to my school district, to a different high school. I’m teaching seniors

Annie, that’s fantastic … what an answer to prayer!
I use a Nikon D70 … it’s fantastic, but pricey. This photo was actually taken with a little old Canon point-and-shoot … but the colors are the result of some post-production in Photoshop (as are most of my photos). If you’re in the market for a high-end camera, you should check out the Nikon D50 … it’s a great deal.
