For those who are following my travels, I’m currently safe and sound in the Los Angeles airport. The past week has been nuts … but almost everything has come together well and I’m almost in one piece!
Our group of about 30 WorldTeach volunteers will be meeting at 9pm tonight then flying out at 1:40am on a 14 hour flight. We’ll connect through Beijing then arrive in Changsha, our home for the next 3 weeks, at about 7:40am (I’m not sure what day that’ll be). All I know is that I’ll sleep very well once we get to the hotel and start to get settled into a routine!
get up and walk around on the flight every couple of hours, so your legs don’t get sore. thats what i did when i went to china and it helped a lot. hopefully they’ll have some good in flight movies for you…

Thanks for the advice … it sounds very wise. I just hope that this country doesn’t dislike me!
