I was in Ningxia-Hui Autonomous Region this summer, and I spent about half an hour a day during the week learning in the Chinese way, about an hour learning from Americans about American culture and values, and about an hour learning from Chinese about Chinese culture and values. The last two were interesting especially because our Chinese friends used what they were learning from the Americans about teaching and always integrating it into their teaching. You would have enjoyed it for sure. :-) Yeah, Lance, teaching is so very different here.
