In the States, everyone knows that dropped food is still safe for 5 ticks of the watch. Unfortunately, however, that rule doesn’t quite apply in China … although the grub is terrific, the ground is one giant trashcan.

    I need to say. As a student in China, this is really common, many people doesn’t have enough money for life. So they do so.

    This photo was taken in Loudi, I was riding on a bus and pointed my camera out of the window. Yes, it is very common … and it is very common for people to simply throw their trash on the ground. In a way, that custom provides jobs for the many “street sweepers” and “bottle ladies” that keep the city clean(er).
