In two hours, I’m going to be leaving for a three-day trip to Fenghuang, an ancient rural village in Hunan. Upon my return, I’ll teach two days of classes then hop on a plane to Xi’an for a five-day trip.

I’ve scheduled a couple of automatic posts, but I probably won’t be responding to anything (including emails) live this week. If you need to reach me, I’ll have my cell phone with me … just call! It’s probably good timing, though, because my Internet connection is terribly slow anyways from the earthquake in Taiwan.
