Dicewars

Dicewars is one of the most addictive games I’ve ever played.

It’s a lot like Risk, but much simpler and faster to play. After choosing how many players and which board to use, you simply attack neighboring countries by rolling the dice against them. If you win, you get more dice.

But it’s pretty hard … I played about ten games before I finally won one!

    I’m not exactly sure, but I found this description about a very similar knock-off game called kdice:

    “At the end of your turn you get a set number of dice added to your stacks (at random) based on the largest number of contiguous territories that you control. The more areas you control, the bigger your dice army, but remember not to spread yourself too thin.”

    I’m addicted to Dicewars, too . . . but, I have to admit: I am a master at the game. Seriously, I always select the 8-player option. And I rarely lose. :wink:
